James has autism and has needed to learn how to adapt to a new working environment and work as part of a team. He has learnt the importance of communication, routines and strategies to get his tasks done. It was identified that James would benefit from some support from a job coach. Forwards went in and helped James adjust to new management, complete some intensive e-learning as well as educate the team’s knowledge and understanding of Autism. He has shown himself to be a professional, hard worker and prepared to do whatever it takes to prove himself in the role he is in.
Due to James’ determination and dedication, James has recently passed his probation, and now has a permanent contract of 12 hours per week.
