Who we've helped.

Vicky says:

> I work in the housekeeping team at Premier Inn, I have settled in really well and really like it here, I get on with everyone and am part of the team. My main job is to strip the beds of the departing rooms, I go in before the rest of the housekeeping team to get the rooms ready for them to then make the beds again, I also hoover and dust the corridors. I got on fine with learning the role and picked up stripping the beds quickly, I really like the role and enjoy coming into work, I have started doing paid work on a Saturday as well as my internship and I’m always keen to come in during my college holidays. I like stripping the beds, talking to customers and helping people, I would recommend that other people do the supported internship.

Vicky’s manager Sharon says:

Since she’s started Vicky’s confidence has definitely grown, she’s settled in brilliantly and has become part of the team, she came on a staff night out when somebody left and she had a fantastic time. Her happy face is wonderful to come in to every day and she cheers everybody up, we didn’t need to make any adjustments or go out of our way to help her settle in, she fitted perfectly into the team. I would definitely recommend other companies take on an intern, it’s had a great effect on Vicky and she’s become so much more confident.
